Live online, small group, fall 2026
The KanbanVibe Focus Room is a small-group program where you build a real personal kanban board, on camera, with people doing the same thing. Your kit ships to your door. You leave with a system that survives when most systems fall apart.
Cohorts start September 30 and October 1
Middle school through high school

Add private one-to-one sessionsFour places. Adults cohort only. What this is
You have probably watched expert videos. You may have downloaded apps, bought planners, and started strong each time. Access to information was never the problem.
What's missing is a room, a place where you show up and put a real kanban up, and come back each week to say what happened. That's the part no downloadable template gives you, and it's the part that makes the system stick.
Week one you build your board on camera, with help, in real time. You do not leave the first session with notes. You leave with a working board on your wall.
Small enough that you will be asked how your week went, and that not answering will be noticeable. Cameras on. That is the whole accountability mechanism, and it's enough.
Most systems die somewhere around week three. Week five is built for exactly that, so you are still in the room when it happens, with people who are hitting it too.
The program
Every session is live. Nothing is pre-recorded. Sessions are recorded for the group, so missing a week does not put you behind.
Why the systems you tried before did not hold, and why this one fits the brain you actually have. Then you open the kit and build your board live, on camera, before the hour is up.
Columns, cards, and finding your own WIP number. We fix what is not working after a week of real use, which is when the honest problems show up.
The morning check-in, the evening reset, and the weekly reflect and inspect. Each one reduces to looking at the board, which is why they stick when journaling never did.
WIP limits as a shield rather than a restriction. What to do with the ideas that arrive mid-task, and why the backlog is the most underrated tool in the system.
This session lands where most people slip, on purpose. What derails a system, how to work with the shame spiral instead of quitting under it, and the restart protocol in writing.
Adapting the board to your real life. Teens: homework, the backpack, the class you are behind in. Adults: work, home, and getting your family onto a shared board without a lecture.
Included
Everything physical, because the friction is the point. Handwriting a card and moving it with your hand engages your brain differently than tapping a checkbox.
Add-on, College and Adults only
Four people can add private sessions on top of their seat. You still sit in the room with everyone else. The one-to-one is where we take the method and fit it to your actual job, your actual calendar, your actual life.
Plus
Founding rate. Includes your cohort seat, so there is nothing else to buy.
Four seats total. Private session times are set with you after you register.
Who runs the room
I was twenty-seven when I got diagnosed. By then I had a degree from a good university, a job at a Fortune 500 company, a wife, and a new family. From the outside I had arrived. From the inside I was missing deadlines I did not know existed and sitting in my boss's office trying to explain failures at tasks I had not realized were mine.
The diagnosis came with relief and with a word. Attention deficit. I was, officially, deficient. That word did a number on me for years.
In 2012 I was running sales operations and administering Salesforce at a midsized tech company. My CTO asked me whether I could build a kanban board. I looked him straight in the eye and said, "Yes I can." Then I walked back to my desk and Googled what a kanban board was.
What I found was a method built by an engineer at Toyota with no money and no space, solving a real problem with real constraints. Visualize the work. Limit what is in progress. I tried it on my own life, and for the first time I had a system that worked with my brain instead of against it. It has since saved my job more than once, and it got my garage cleaned out, which honestly took longer.
The problem was never your brain. The problem was that every system you were handed was built for somebody else's.
I wrote Work in Progress, out in early 2027, because I wanted the book I needed back then. I run the Focus Room because a book cannot ask you how your week went.
You have tried systems before and they did not hold. You can commit to one hour a week for six weeks. You are willing to be on camera. You want to understand why something works, not just be told to do it. A diagnosis is not required, and never has been.
You want a recording to watch on your own schedule. You are looking for clinical treatment or therapy, which this is not and does not replace. You want a digital tool rather than a physical board. Or the timing is wrong right now, which is a real answer.
No. The method is diagnosis-agnostic. I have worked with business leaders and with friends who have never been diagnosed with anything, and who run this system successfully. If it helps your kid see their work and finish it, it helps.
No, and you could not anyway. Work in Progress is not out until early 2027. Your workbook is drawn from the same material and written for this program, so everything you need shows up in the box. There is nothing to buy or read before session one.
Every session is recorded and shared with the group. Life happens, and a missed week is a missed week, not a dropped program. Come back next week.
Fall break is not a single national date. It varies by district and sometimes by neighboring district. I ask for yours at intake, and if enough of the group is out on the same night we move that session together. Recordings cover everyone else.
Fully online, live, by video. Your kit ships to you before the first session so you are building on a real board in your own space.
Because it is the accountability. A room of people who will notice if you are not there, and who you will want to show your Done column to. It is not a rule for its own sake, it is the mechanism.
Not this round. One-to-one is for the college and adult cohort only. A group session with everyone on camera is a very different setting from a private call with a minor, and I am not going to run the second one casually. If there is demand I will build it properly, with recorded sessions and parent access, rather than bolt it on now.
The room is for the students, and you are welcome any week without asking first. After you register I send a short parent intake so I know who I am working with, and a weekly note home about what we covered so you can support it without hovering.
A parent registers, not the student. Sessions are group only and never one to one. There is a waiting room, no breakout rooms for teens, and recordings are shared only inside that cohort then deleted after 120 days. The whole policy is on the safety page, in plain language.
This is the founding cohort. You are getting the program before there are testimonials, and your feedback shapes what it becomes. That is worth something, and the rate reflects it. It is not a countdown gimmick, and it closes once the founding cohorts fill.
Full refund before your kit ships. Once it ships the kit is yours, and a refund is the tuition less a materials fee. Through 48 hours after session two you can leave and get half your tuition back, no explanation needed. After that, no refunds. The full schedule is in the Terms and Refund Policy.
